Ireland to allocate 7m CO2 permits to airlines in 2012
Ireland will next year hand out just over 7 million aviation CO2 permits worth around 70 million euros to airlines to help them meet carbon caps under the EU Emissions Trading Scheme, the country’s Environmental Protection Agency said Friday.
