EUAs slide towards 9 euros, hit fresh 33-month low

EU Allowances plunged to 9.23 euros on Friday, their lowest since February 2009, as analysts predicted a meltdown in prices and traders became increasingly fretful that the euro zone crisis will weaken demand and boost credit supply.
