When a client commissioned Ohnmacht Flamm Architekten to build the quirky KIKO house on a lush green plot at the base of the Tyrol mountains in Austria, they were more concerned with aesthetics than energy efficiency. But it turns out now that one year after completion, this striking home uses little more energy than a bonafide Passive Haus! A multi-level home with a small garage box on either end, KIKO also features excellent daylighting and fun bubble windows that overlook the majestic landscape.
